McCauley has recently gained approval for their new 3 bladed propeller kit for the Piper PA24-250 Comanche. This new kit includes a new propeller, new spinner, new governor, all mounting hardware, and STC paperwork.
Please Note, this STC Kit does not require modification to the crankshaft dampner!
Prop Center will furnish this kit outright for $ 8950.00 to owners of the Piper PA24-250.
There are two other New propeller kits available for the Comanche, both from Johnson Aircraft. One is a new 2 bladed propeller and spinner, the other is a new 3 bladed propeller and spinner combination that requires a modification to the crankshaft dampner. The Hartzell 3 bladed propeller is of the scimitar design. Each kit includes new propeller, new spinner, an Overhauled governor, all parts necessary to complete installation including paperwork.
The 2 bladed prop kit will sell for $ 9030.00 and the 3 bladed kit for $ 9780.00.
With the purchase of any of the mentioned STC kits the Hartzell 97-18-02 A.D. will be eliminated.
